The show - ARABIC BEAT

Fleurs d'Egypte currently offers a show called Arabic Beat. In ninety minutes, you will be transported from your seat to the nightclubs of Egypt, carnival in Brazil, a luau in Hawaii, a European discotheque, the market square in Anatolia, and back to the exciting new world of belly dance theater. A dramatic entrance by the entire ensemble sets the exotic mood for the evening. At one point, swirling silk fills the stage with mystique and grace in a veil dance inspired by Salomé. The show explores a variety of upbeat classical and folksy Egyptian dances, punctuated by Hawaiian hula, Spanish gypsy fusion, and Brazilian samba. An energetic drum solo and vivacious finale complete the show. Even the audience gets a chance to participate!
