Ceanna |
|
Ceanna began her training for the stage at a relatively young age, singing as a child and performing in lead roles in Shakpearean plays as a teen. When she moved to Seattle from San Francisco in 2003, she began immersing herself in ethnic forms of dance, including West African, Salsa, and most specifically Flamenco. In 2008, she began actively pursuing Oriental dance with hard work and dilligence immediately after falling in love with the grace and unique stylisations. Ever since, Ceanna has trained, traveled, and performed internationally, learning such forms as Egyptian Cabaret, American Cabaret, Tribal, Oriental, and Fusion, and is Certified in Level 1 of Rachel Brice's 8 Elements. |

| She has graced the stages in exotic countries, including China and Australia. During 2008-2009, she performed with Seattle's Award-winning Blue Lotus Dance Company, under the direction of Nalini, performing Belly dance, Bollywood, and Russian Gypsy. Today she performs with Seattle's highly acclaimed dance company, Fleurs D'Egypte, under the direction of the incomparable Najla, performing not only Belly dance, but Samba, Tahitian, and Cabaret. | |
