| Nadira began her journey as a performer at the early age of six. She has studied many forms of dance from classical ballet to hip hop to jazz. In 1999, she was introduced to Middle Eastern dance after a car accident she thought ended her dance career. Since then, Nadira has been crowned 2007 Belly Dancer USA, 2006 Belly Dancer of the Year, 2005 Double Crown Bellydance Performing Artist, 2005 Emerald Rain Champion and 2004 Entertainer of the Year. Currently, Nadira performs and teaches throughout the United States, but calls Seattle home. |
